Common (formerly Common Sense, born Lonnie Rashid Lynn, Jr. on March 13, 1972 in
Chicago, Illinois) is a Chicago-based hip hop artist known for lyrics that focus on love
and spirituality. The song "I Used to Love H.E.R.", off the album Resurrection had a big
impact in the industry. The lyrics of the song criticized the path hip-hop music was
taking, including the popularity of West Coast G-Funk rap. Hip Hop has gone through
many changes...We the people inspire each other with our actions and words.
Hip Hop is the culture that USA didn't have and is now raising children all over the world.
Music is a language that unites people with different cultures and backgrounds and it has
been part of the social movement since the beginning.
This design is to remind everyone in and out of the Hip Hop world to MAKE SENSE and to
freely express their feelings for a positive change. Respects to Common Sense Rockin' for
the commom man...Music must be heard not hurt..Support the movement..
We still love her....LISTEN
